1. Purpose and Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) aims to:

  • Ensure Tayang.in services are used ethically, safely, and in accordance with applicable laws in Indonesia
  • Protect the integrity of our infrastructure and services
  • Maintain security and comfort for all service users
  • Prevent misuse that could harm Tayang.in, other users, or third parties

Scope: This policy applies to all services provided by Tayang.in, including but not limited to hosting, domains, email, VPS, and other related services.

2. Definitions

  • Services: All products and services provided by Tayang.in, including web hosting, domains, email, VPS, dedicated servers, and other supporting services
  • Customer/User: Individual or entity using Tayang.in services
  • Violation: Actions that violate this AUP or applicable laws in Indonesia
  • Content: All data, files, information, or materials stored or transmitted through our services
  • Account: Access granted to users to use Tayang.in services

3. Prohibited Activities

3.1 Illegal Content and Activities

  • Pornographic content, violence, or content violating moral standards
  • Online gambling activities or gambling promotion
  • Copyright, trademark, or intellectual property violations
  • Distribution of malware, viruses, or harmful software
  • Hacking, cracking, or unauthorized access activities
  • Phishing, online fraud, or scam schemes
  • Spreading hoaxes, hate speech, or content that incites ethnic, religious, racial, and inter-group conflicts
  • Terrorism activities or those threatening national security

3.2 Resource Abuse

  • DDoS attacks or activities that disrupt services
  • Cryptocurrency mining without explicit permission
  • Excessive use of CPU, RAM, or bandwidth that disrupts other users
  • Running open proxies or open relays
  • Backup or data storage unrelated to active websites
  • Using services for purposes other than intended

3.3 Spam & Unwanted Communications

  • Sending bulk emails without recipient consent
  • Spam through contact forms, comments, or social media
  • Using bots for automatic promotion or spam
  • Configuring mail servers as open relays
  • Harvesting email addresses without permission

3.4 Privacy & Data Security Violations

  • Unauthorized access to systems or other people's data
  • Violations of Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP)
  • Collecting personal data without consent
  • Misuse of user personal information
  • Intentional security breaches

5. Enforcement & Consequences

Tayang.in implements a tiered enforcement system based on violation severity:

Note: Tayang.in reserves the right to take necessary actions to protect services and other users, including service termination without prior notice for severe violations.

Target Response Times:

  • Emergency Reports: 2-4 hours
  • High Priority Reports: 12-24 hours
  • Standard Reports: 24-48 hours

7. Cooperation with Law Enforcement

Tayang.in is committed to cooperating with authorized law enforcement regarding:

  • Legitimate information requests following proper legal procedures
  • Investigation of criminal activities or those harming national security
  • Providing data and logs necessary for investigations
  • Blocking or terminating services under lawful orders

Note: All requests must follow proper legal procedures and be accompanied by valid official documents.

8. Policy Changes

Tayang.in reserves the right to update this AUP at any time to:

  • Adapt to changes in laws and regulations
  • Improve security and service quality
  • Address new threats or risks
  • Clarify existing provisions

Notification: Significant changes will be announced via email and official website. Users are advised to check this policy periodically.
